WNBA News for November 16th, 2007
If Dennis Rodman is still looking to be a WNBA coach, he’s going to have to look outside Atlanta. The new franchise, and owner Ron Terwilliger, have said that they’d prefer to have a women’s coach, since it’s a women’s league. I guess dressing like a woman doesn’t count? Terwilliger is expected to announce Georgia All-American Teresa Edwards as head coach by Thanksgiving. Edwards was the assistant coach for the Minnesota Lynx last season.
There’s no debate on the greatest WNBA player, and that’s Lauren Jackson. The Syndey Morning Herald wrote an excellent article, calling her the “Michael Jordan of Womens Basketball”.
i totally agree with whomever wrote that!
She is an excellant playerwhom I admire.
